Your doctor may start you on a low dose of Estrace and gradually increase your dose. Your doctor may also check your cholesterol and diabetes while you are on Estrace. This medication may be used during pregnancy. It may also be prescribed to treat breast cancer in women that are currently breastfeeding. Estrace passes into breast milk.
